Terms of service
Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to the NeoRank service, published by the publisher identified in the legal notice (the "publisher"), and its use. Creating an account constitutes acceptance.
NeoRank is a search visibility analysis service: technical crawling of sites, assessment of how extractable their content is, and bounded observation of mentions in generative answer systems.
Account and access
- The account holder is responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for actions taken from the account.
- A workspace may hold several seats; the number of seats is set by the subscribed plan.
- You may declare and deep-analyse only domains you own or control, which the service asks you to verify.
- The service may suspend an account for manifest abuse, quota circumvention or conduct that threatens service integrity.
Subscriptions and billing
- Plans, quotas and prices are shown on the Pricing page. Prices are in euros, inclusive of tax, with EU VAT applied according to the customer's country.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. NeoRank stores no card data.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at term, monthly or annually according to the plan chosen.
- An upgrade takes effect immediately and is pro-rated. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Termination takes effect at the end of the paid period. No pro-rata refund is due for a period already started, save where law provides otherwise.
- Quotas are read from the database at the time of use. Exceeding one may block an action; it never triggers automatic unconsented billing.
Right of withdrawal
A consumer has fourteen days to withdraw. By requesting immediate performance of the service, the consumer acknowledges that this right lapses once the service has been fully performed. Business customers do not benefit from this right.
Acceptable use
- Crawling honours the robots.txt of the sites analysed, under a bounded page budget and timeout. Circumventing that limit is prohibited.
- The service may not be used to crawl third-party sites without the right to do so, to reconstitute a protected database, or for any unlawful purpose.
- Resale, provision to third parties and white-label use are permitted only under the partner programme.
- The acceptable use policy (/legal/charte) details these rules and forms part of these terms.
AI-generated content
Some features of the service produce content with artificial intelligence models: NeoRank AI assistant answers, diagnostics, syntheses, rewrite proposals. This content is provided for information. It may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuited to your situation, and it is neither legal nor professional advice.
You are responsible for checking it before any decision, publication or release. NeoRank guarantees neither its accuracy, nor its completeness, nor the results of applying it, and accepts no liability for the use made of it, within the limits set out in the section "Service limits and liability".
NeoRank Research (/research): a question you submit there may become the topic of a public page published by NeoRank, without personal data. By submitting it, you allow NeoRank to reuse its wording for that purpose. Research pages are generated by AI from the answers of several answer engines and checked by automatic filters; they are informational content under this section.
NeoRank Research chat: the answers of the AI engines you pick (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, DeepSeek and, once activated, Grok and Meta AI) are generated by those providers and are informational content under this section. The free engine and the trial messages are limited per visitor and per day; beyond them, the paid engines are reserved for plans that include AI and are counted against your organisation's monthly AI allowance. The chat refuses unlawful or dangerous requests. A conversation becomes a public page only if you choose "Publish as a Research page": only your question is then submitted to NeoRank Research, on the terms of the previous paragraph, and only if it is about SEO, AEO, GEO, AI visibility or digital marketing.
Customer reviews
When the service invites you to, after a verified automatic fix on your site, you may publish a review of NeoRank. The review is optional and entitles you to nothing in return: no discount, no credit, no gift, whatever the rating.
By publishing a review, you warrant that it sincerely reflects your own experience of the service, that you are publishing it neither on behalf of someone else nor in exchange for any benefit, and that it contains no unlawful content and no personal data about anyone else. If you use a NeoRank suggestion or the writing help, the published text remains yours: you can freely edit it before sending it and you are answerable for it.
NeoRank moderates reviews only according to the method published on the "How we collect reviews" page (/avis/methode): a review can be rejected only for insults, spam, personal data about someone else, or content unrelated to NeoRank. A review is never rejected, delayed or hidden because its rating is low or because it criticises NeoRank, and NeoRank does not alter the text of a review.
You allow NeoRank, free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, to reproduce and display your review (rating, comment, display name and date) on the neorank.ai website, without altering it, and to include it in the average rating and the number of reviews shown, for as long as it is published. This permission ends when you ask for your review to be deleted (privacy@neorank.ai) or close your account; the review is then removed from the site. How the data linked to your review is processed is described in the privacy policy.
Service limits and liability
NeoRank measures surfaces it does not control: search engines, generative answer systems and connected third-party services. The service supplies dated, sourced findings; it guarantees no ranking, no traffic and no citation.
Results are presented with their measurement state. Data that has not been measured is shown as such and must not be read as a zero.
NeoRank's liability under the contract is limited to the amounts actually paid by the customer over the twelve months preceding the triggering event. No limitation applies in case of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury.
Data and confidentiality
Processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. Where NeoRank acts as processor for a workspace's data, the data processing agreement applies.
Reports and exports produced from a workspace's data belong to the customer of that workspace.
Changes to the service and to these terms
The service evolves. A substantial change to these terms or to a plan's quotas is notified before it takes effect; a customer who rejects it may terminate at no cost.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the registered office of the publisher (Belgium). The parties will seek an amicable resolution before any action. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The European online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025; the list of dispute resolution bodies is available at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
