AI help in NeoRank

Coming soon — AI shows up in four places in NeoRank. Three give advice or drafts; none changes your site without your approval — only automatic fixes write, and only after your click.

“Tailored AI solution”

In an audit issue's panel, “Generate the fix with AI” sends one call to an AI model, with the pages actually recorded for this issue (up to 12 of them) and their findings. The model must base each recommendation on those pages and say what they do not show (“Limitations”).

  • The result carries the grey “Advice only · nothing is changed” badge and reminds you that your site was not changed.
  • It is labelled “AI-generated · check before use”, with the provider and the number of pages given to the model.
  • No before/after here: it is an explanation. The exact, applicable before/after is in “Fix automatically” right below.
  • You may copy advice into your CMS after checking it: NeoRank does not verify it the way it verifies an automatic fix.

AI in automatic fixes

  1. NeoRank first tries a rule (built from the page's own words).
  2. When the rule is not enough (page too short, invalid text), AI drafts it, in the page's language. The proposal is labelled “AI-drafted, check it”.
  3. Every text goes through checks: length, language, no HTML, no external link, no template syntax, no figure or promise absent from the page. A text that fails is not proposed.
  4. You read it, edit it if needed, then approve. Nothing is written before.

Details, colours and quotas: Automatic fixes.

AI quotas

  • AI requests (tailored solution, AI fix drafting, and part of Neo AI's use): a monthly budget per organisation depending on the plan, reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC — see Billing.
  • Neo AI: a number of questions a day depending on the plan, and 5 questions a minute per user — see Neo AI.
  • Applied fixes: a separate monthly quota, depending on the plan — see Automatic fixes.

The observed AI engines

For AI visibility (GEO / AEO), NeoRank asks these engines your tracked questions and records whether your brand is named or cited:

EngineVendor
ChatGPTOpenAI
GeminiGoogle
ClaudeAnthropic
PerplexityPerplexity
DeepSeekDeepSeek
GrokxAI
Meta AIMeta
  • An engine is queried only once it is verified: the NeoRank team sends it one real, tiny request and records the model that answered. The header's “AI engines” pill (for example 7/7) counts the verified engines.
  • Meta AI and Grok are observed engines only: NeoRank asks them your questions, but does not use them for its own analyses.
  • Observations follow an analysis or your click; there is no recurring schedule to set. Details: AEO and GEO.

What AI never does

  • NeoRank does not “rewrite” your content to get cited by ChatGPT or Claude: it measures, explains and proposes (answer blocks, FAQ, content plan). Only catalogue fixes — including a JSON-LD FAQ block you review — can be applied, after your approval.
  • Your pages' content is treated as data, never as an instruction: a hidden sentence trying to steer the AI is removed before the call.
  • No answer contains a key, a secret or an infrastructure detail.
