Features

Traffic & market

The “Traffic & market” view shows the visits Google Analytics 4 measured on your site — channels, devices, visits from AI engines with their conversions and revenue — and your organic clicks measured by Search Console. Without a connector, it says so instead of estimating.

What you need

  • Google Analytics 4 connected and linked to the site: without it, the header reads “GA4 not connected” and the cards offer “Connect Google Analytics 4”.
  • Google Search Console connected for the organic clicks KPI.
  • You connect them from the connectors: see Integrations.

The header shows the state: “GA4 connected”, “GA4 without data” (connector working, no day of sessions for this site — see “Connected but no visit”) or “GA4 not connected”.

The KPIs

KPIComputation
GA4 sessions (28 d)Sessions over the last 28 reported days, compared with the previous 28 when that window is complete.
AI traffic share (GEO)Sessions from a recognised AI engine, divided by all sessions split by channel in the same window.
Average bounce rate100 − the GA4 engagement rate, weighted by sessions.
Average duration per visitEach channel's GA4 average session duration, weighted by its sessions; “not measured” if GA4 reported no duration.
Organic clicks — Search ConsoleThe clicks over the last days reported by Search Console, their change, and the number of distinct queries with at least one impression.

Channels and devices

Each session is put in a channel from its GA4 source / medium: AI (LLM), organic, paid (cpc, ppc, display…), referral, social, email, direct or other. The cards show sessions by channel, the devices used and the change by channel; the channel table gives share, visits, 28-day change, bounce rate and average duration. The tables export to CSV.

AI → traffic → revenue

This block reads the AI-visits report the GA4 sync records: per day, each engine's sessions, key events and revenue, by source and landing page.

  • A visit counts as coming from an AI only if GA4 recorded one of the exact recognised sources: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok, Meta AI, Perplexity, Phind or You.com. No guessing on a look-alike domain name.
  • Revenue is given in your GA4 property's currency; different currencies are never added up. “No revenue recorded” means GA4 recorded none.
  • The landing pages most visited from AI engines are listed; those an observed AI answer also cited are marked “cited by an AI”.
  • Several GA4 properties linked to the same site are never added up as one site: the block says so.
  • Before the first reading, the block says the AI visits arrive with the next sync — never a zero.

The “Prove” block

  • Each engine's measured visits beside the share of that engine's answers that cite your site.
  • Share of voice per month, and the tracked questions that cite the site with the measured AI visits to the cited pages. GA4 does not say which question brought a visit: these visits do not add up.
  • When automatic fixes are enabled on the platform, a “before / after” for each fix, beside the site's own trend: an observation, not proof of cause.
  • One single estimate, shown apart, as a range with low confidence: at the bottom, the measured AI visits; at the top, in addition, the “direct” visits that landed on a page an AI answer cited.

Data freshness

  • Google connectors sync automatically, at a pace that depends on your plan (see the plans); the view's refresh button restarts the sync of the workspace's Google connectors. It is reserved for the workspace's administrators and strategists, once an hour at most.
  • Google publishes its figures 2 to 3 days late: the last day shown is often the day before yesterday.

What is not measured

  • Estimated organic traffic and ranked keywords are shown only if historical checks from the former provider exist, with their date; otherwise they are hidden and a short note explains why (see Measurements and estimates).
  • Market size, market share, audience overlap, demographics and interests have no source in NeoRank: “Not offered by NeoRank”.
  • NeoRank does not monitor your competitors' pages, ads and links. Your identified competitors are in Competitor analysis, your site's alerts in Alerts and observations.

A method

  1. Connect GA4 and Search Console, then let the first sync fill the history.
  2. Follow the AI traffic share and the landing pages reached from AI engines.
  3. Cross-check with AI visibility: do the cited pages receive visits?
  4. For organic clicks per query, open the Search Console history.
