Features

Pages and discovery

A page-by-page view that brings three measured sources together: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and the NeoRank Engine's latest crawl, plus the citations recorded by AI observations. A cell with no source says so instead of showing zero.

What the view shows

Pages & discovery (sidebar group “NeoRank audit & crawl”) answers three questions: which pages get traffic, what state the crawl found them in, and which ones AI engines cite. The header shows GA4's state (“GA4 measured”, “GA4 without data” or “GA4 not connected”) and the window of days received.

Where the figures come from

SourceWhat it bringsWindow
Google Analytics 4Page views, users, average engagement time and bounce, per landing pageLast 28 reported days, compared with the previous 28
Google Search ConsoleClicks, impressions and average position per pageThe same 28 reported days
Latest finished crawl (NeoRank Engine)Title, HTTP status, click depth and internal PageRankCrawl date shown in UTC
AI observationsHow many times a page of the site is cited by the observed enginesThe latest three completed or partial runs

A page's Search Console position is an impression-weighted average; a row without a ranked position counts its impressions but does not drag the average towards zero. The figures update with every sync of the Google connectors and every new crawl — see When the figures appear.

The KPIs

KPIReading
Page views, Users (summed per landing page and per day: a returning visitor can count several times)GA4 totals over the window, with the change against the previous 28 days. Without a complete previous window: “No complete previous window to compare with”.
AI citationsSite pages cited by the observed engines; “—” until an AI observation has been run.
Pages crawledNumber of pages in the latest crawl, with its date.
2xx responses, Error pagesShare of pages in 2xx and number of pages in 4xx and 5xx, counted over the whole latest crawl (not only the table's rows).

The charts

  • HTTP responses of the pages read: the latest crawl's 2xx, 3xx, 4xx and 5xx split. A page the crawl did not read is counted nowhere.
  • Most viewed pages: the listed pages with the most GA4 views (up to eight).
  • Pages cited by AI engines: the listed pages the observed engines cite most (up to eight).
  • Both rankings cover the pages listed in the table, not the site total — the caption says so.

Internal linking

The Internal linking card summarises the internal link graph observed by the latest crawl:

FigureMeaning
Pages measuredPages included in the graph.
Orphan pagesPages the crawl observed no internal link to.
Not reached from the home pagePages no path of links connects to the home page.
Maximum depthThe largest number of clicks from the home page.
Strategic pages more than 3 clicks deepHTML pages answering 200, indexable and their own canonical, more than 3 clicks from the home page.

Without a graph, the card says “Not measured” with the reason: quick crawl, link graph disabled, crawl too large for the graph, or NeoRank Engine unavailable. A full crawl is needed — see the crawler.

The URL table

Performance of crawled URLs lists up to 25 pages: first the GA4 pages by views, then the latest crawl's pages, then the pages Search Console saw, by clicks. Every column sorts; the table is paginated.

ColumnReading
Relative URLThe page's path, with a link to open it.
Title, HTTP statusRead by the latest crawl; absent if the page is not in it.
Views, Users, Avg. time, BounceGA4 over the 28-day window.
GSC clicks, GSC impressions, GSC positionSearch Console over the same window.
AI citationsThe page's citations by the observed engines; “Not cited” if none.
Click depthClicks from the home page through the internal links observed; above 3, the value is flagged.
Internal PageRankPercentile from 0 to 100 among the latest crawl's pages (P100 = the strongest).

Export to CSV

The CSV button exports the rows in the sort order shown (neorank-pages.csv), with every column, raw values, and empty cells where nothing is measured. See CSV exports.

Getting your pages discovered: IndexNow

From Settings › Accelerated indexing, you host a key on your domain, verify it, then turn submission on. NeoRank then notifies the engines taking part in IndexNow of the new or changed URLs after each crawl, and you can also submit by hand. The latest submissions are listed with their result.

Limits

  • The table lists 25 pages at most: it is not the site's full inventory. The total number of crawled pages is shown beside it.
  • Without GA4 connected, the traffic columns and view KPIs stay empty; without a finished crawl, so do title, status, depth and PageRank.
  • AI citations exist only after at least one observation run from AI visibility.
  • Technical errors page by page are read in the technical audit.

A method

  1. Connect GA4 and Search Console (Integrations) and run a full crawl.
  2. Spot pages in 4xx or 5xx that still get traffic or impressions: fix or redirect them.
  3. Bring deep strategic pages closer: add links from the home page or from pages strong in internal PageRank.
  4. Compare the most viewed pages with the pages AI engines cite: a page read a lot but never cited is a good candidate for AEO optimisation.
